I’m a writer living in Eugene, Oregon.

I wrote the Wine in Common column in the Nashville Scene from 2015–2018.

I’m a UCLA football alum and cancer survivor, and my essay about cancer and Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry was published in the Kansas City Star. I’ve written a few things for Somm Journal, I was a 2017 fellow at the Symposium for Professional Wine Writers at Meadowood Napa Valley, and I received the Frank & Pardis Stitt Fellowship (for writing in the culinary arts) at Rivendell Writers’ Colony in Sewanee, Tenn.

I have an M.F.A. in nonfiction from Oregon State University, where I studied under Elena Passarello and Justin St. Germain, and I work as a writer in the wine business. You can write me at P.O. Box 5264, Eugene, OR, 97405, email me at contact@peteholland.com, or even call me at my desk if you like: (541) 844-1808.
