I’m a writer based in Oregon. I grew up California, and eventually spent seven years in Nashville, where I pursued songwriting for a while.

I wrote the Wine in Common column in the Nashville Scene from 2015-2018, and my work has been published in the Kansas City Star and Somm Journal. I was a 2017 fellow at the Symposium for Professional Wine Writers at Meadowood Napa Valley. I also received the Frank & Pardis Stitt Fellowship (for writing in the culinary arts) at Rivendell Writers’ Colony in Sewanee, Tenn.

I am a graduate of UCLA (B.A.) and Oregon State University (M.F.A.). I work as a writer in the wine business.

You can write me at P.O. Box 5264, Eugene, OR, 97405, email me at ph@peteholland.com, or call me at my desk: :(541) 844-1808.
